Current Scholarship Information The WashBoardContest.org organization is offering a scholarship of up to $3000. All you need to do is create a video of 60 seconds or less with up to 2 other students in the video. You can qualify if you are a senior residing in the State of Washington who will be enrolled at least part-time at an accredited university or college (2 or 4 year) during the 2012-2013 academic year. Abbott and Fenner Scholarship: These are 2 $1,000 scholarships available to juniors and seniors (minimum 16 years old) who write a 500 to 1,000 word essay on the topic, "What was the most difficult time in your life and why? Inspiration for students to achieve their college dreams why go, what to do, how to pay. The College Board: www.collegeboard.org. The College Board site offers advice on student loans. The web site also provides career search information, online SAT registration, college search information, a financial aid calculator, and college savings advice. CollegeNet allows borrowers to search its database for information on 4 year schools, community and technical colleges. If the borrower wants to attend college in a particular state, the site allows a search performance by state map. National Association for College Admission Counseling: http://www.nacacnet.org.
