
Yearbook Senior Memory Markers – Parents and guardians of seniors: Do you want to tell your child how special they are? A colored Memory Marker in the KL yearbook is just the way to express your feelings! It’s easy to do and will last a lifetime. Feel free to submit these in color! Senior Memory Markers should be submitted print ready. NOTE: All messages and photos are subject to editing. Space is limited and submissions will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Yearbook Senior Portraits – The Kentlake Yearbook class needs your senior pictures! You have an option to either use your picture taken at the beginning of the school year (but make sure you do!) or turn in a picture done by an outside photographer. Turn in senior pictures by Wednesday, November 27th, 2024. Pictures should be emailed to the Kentlake Yearbook email address (kentlakeyearbooksubmissions@gmail.com). Pictures should be at least 300dpi for print quality and measure 3.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide (it will be in print half that size). Files emailed should be in .jpg (.jpeg) format. It would also be great if you included an email where we can contact you should there be any corruption with your file.

Did you miss picture day or want to take a new picture? Picture retakes will take place on Friday, October 4th in Cascade Hall from 8:00am – 1:00pm. Please see the attached flyer for more details.
Picture Packets – If you ordered photos from Dorian, please pick up your photo packet during lunch in front of the Athletics & Activities office. Retake Day is October 4.


Homecoming Dance / Ticket Info / Guest Contracts
Falcons, come join us for “Eclipse At Dawn” homecoming dance on Saturday, October 12th from 8-11pm at Kentlake! Tickets are on sale October 1-9 from the Cashier.
Ticket prices per person: $15.00 w/ASB and $20.00 without ASB. KL students who have a waiver on file for free & reduced lunch are eligible for a free Homecoming ticket.
Students must present Kentlake ID when purchasing for themselves and their date’s ID if they are also a KL student. If you are bringing a non-Kentlake student to Homecoming, you must complete a Guest Contract form (last day to submit guest contracts is Oct 4). These are required for any non-KL student attending as a guest (one guest per KL student). All students must be clear of fines to purchase dance tickets. To enter the dance, students and guests must present their student ID.


Senior Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd seniors will meet in the PAC during their Homeroom for our first Senior Meeting of the year – we will be discussing graduation and other topics relevant to seniors! All seniors are expected to attend, including Full-Time Running Start Students. Homeroom is from 8:42-9:15am.

Starting as early as preschool and kindergarten, regular attendance is essential for students gaining the academic and social skills they need to thrive. Research shows that when students are chronically absent (missing 10% or more of the school year or 18 days over an entire school year), they are less likely to read proficiently by third grade, achieve in middle school and graduate from high school.

KSD is dedicated to encouraging all students to arrive on time and attend every class. Being present is crucial for unlocking their full potential and ensuring the best opportunities for success.
