iReady testing will continue next week with math. Please remind your student to bring their laptop to complete their test.
The winter iReady benchmark test starts on January 7th. Please remind your student to bring their charged device on that date. If you are interested in opting out of iReady benchmark testing, please email your student's school counselor.
Due to the districtwide closure for power outages in November, the 2024-2025 student calendar has been updated. The optional snow days previously planned for March, April, and May are now regular school days. www.kent.k12.wa.us/calendar

All Kent School District Schools and the administration campus are open and operating on normal schedules Monday, November 25. Buses are on normal routes at the regularly scheduled pick-up times.
Don't forget Conferences are coming up on Tuesday the 26th in the Mattson Gym from 1-7. If you haven't signed up, please use the link or the QR code below to sign up! Please note that you'll need to choose your student's ADIVSORY teacher to sign up for a time, but you're able to talk to all of your student's teachers once you arrive. Schools Closed Friday, November 22, Administration Campus Open. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to prioritize the safety of our students and staff in the aftermath of this severe windstorm. We are working diligently with Puget Sound Energy (PSE) to reopen our schools. Currently, there are 17 schools without power and three with unsafe conditions. All schools and administration campus will be closed, Thursday, Nov. 21. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work to open our schools. As of 6:30 p.m. today, 20 schools and the administration campus are without power caused by the severe windstorm. It’s Election Day! Remember to turn in your ballot to any drop box location by 8:00 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, November 5. KSD encourages all registered voters to vote in all elections. Remember to vote!
