The Kent School District Assessment Calendar outlines the state and district approved assessment windows, during which schools can decide when to administer assessments. Please check with your school for specific testing information for your student. 

The KSD Assessment team prioritizes instructional time by setting up systems to support a streamlined and efficient test period. We try to minimize the extent to which windows overlap to limit student and teacher testing fatigue. This calendar is based on:

• State testing windows

• School data cycles

• Reporting requirements

• Building calendars.

The WIDA Screener is not listed on the calendar because of the method of administration. Students are identified to participate in the WIDA English language proficiency screener based on the Home Language survey indicating what language is spoken at home. Students must be screened within 10 calendar days of enrollment in school, per state requirements.
