New for the 2024-2025 school year, Kent School District is excited to introduce Rooms for two-way, translatable communication between families and participating teachers.

Rooms is a secure environment that requires a login and password. To use Rooms, you must:

1. Have an active student enrolled in a Kent School District school.

2. Have a student in a class with a teacher who is using Rooms. Not all teachers may be using Rooms as their primary communication tool.

3. Create your own Rooms account using the personalized invitation link sent to you via email.

Once you have created an account, you can access Rooms from:

• The Kent School District, WA app available for free from the App Store or Google Play.

• The edurooms.com website using the internet on any computer, laptop, or other device.

Teachers using Rooms for their role and not as a parent/guardian access Rooms through the Thrillshare website or app on district-provided devices.
