Kent School District will make every effort to provide translation services for districtwide events upon request.

An event is considered districtwide if:

• It is sponsored by the Kent School District (rather than a specific school),

• It is open to the public (not just parents/guardians of enrolled students), and/or

• it involves participants from multiple schools.

To request a language accommodation for a districtwide event, please email translations@kent.k12.wa.us with the following information:

• Your name and contact information

• Event name, date, and location

• Accommodation requested (interpreter, translated materials, etc.)

• Language requested (ASL, Spanish, etc.)

Please allow at least three (3) business days for a response. For certain events, more notice may be required:

• For board meetings, please submit your request by 5:00 p.m. on the Monday prior to the meeting.

• For high school drama productions, please submit your request at least 30 days in advance.
