All Kent School District Schools and the administration campus are open and operating on normal schedules Monday, November 25. Buses are on normal routes at the regularly scheduled pick-up times.


Secondary conferences are happening next week on Tuesday, November 26!
Conference dismissal time will be 3 hours early for middle schools, high schools, and Kent Laboratory Academy secondary students.

Schools Closed Friday, November 22, Administration Campus Open. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to prioritize the safety of our students and staff in the aftermath of this severe windstorm. We are working diligently with Puget Sound Energy (PSE) to reopen our schools. Currently, there are 17 schools without power and three with unsafe conditions. All schools and administration campus will be closed, Thursday, Nov. 21. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work to open our schools. As of 6:30 p.m. today, 20 schools and the administration campus are without power caused by the severe windstorm. Last week, Pine Tree Elementary hosted its very first Indigenous People in STEM event! Our students explored the inspiring stories of Indigenous leaders in STEM and shared their discoveries with awesome presentations. A big shoutout to librarian Netera Pratt-Gutierrez for inviting author and Haida Tribe member Sondra Segundo to read her book—it was such a highlight! 📚✨ Huge thanks to Netera and the staff for making this event a success, and great job, Falcons!
